Here's a list of the latest updates to the Road Intelligence Platform.
Nearmap Integration
We've integrated with Nearmap to provide better satellite map visuals.
Founded in Australia in 2007, Nearmap is one of the largest aerial survey companies in the world. With its patented, aeroplane-mounted camera systems, Nearmap covers up to 95% of the Australian population and captures wide-scale urban areas multiple times per year.
To view the Nearmap integration, get in touch with our team. By providing us your existing Nearmap API, a Nearmap Imagery button will appear. Turn the map view to Satellite and then press the Nearmap Imagery icon.
If you are an existing Nearmap customer or would like to obtain a license, get in touch with us about how to access this new feature at info@compassiot.com.au. You can also read this quick-start guide.
New Map Features - NSW Cameras
We've added two new map features for customers in NSW:
- Speed Camera locations
- Red Light Camera locations
You can toggle these on and off in the Map Features button located at the bottom right-hand corner.
WKT files
We've added WKT file import and export. To use WKT functions, turn on Advanced Mode located under the profile icon at the top righthand side of the map. You should then see the option to add WKT linestrings or polygons and download WKT files. To see what kind of WKT files you are able to use with Compass, check out this article about WKT files.
