New Features

Queue Lengths (BETA)

Queue Lengths is a BETA feature in Trajectory Analysis. We recommend reviewing our how-to guide on Queue Lengths to ensure accurate results.

We've added a new BETA Queue Length table in Path Analysis under the Trajectory Analysis section. This is to help customers who want trajectory information, but were finding trajectory graphs difficult to read or that caused performance issues due to the amount of data being rendered.

Queue length shows whether traffic is queuing along your selected path, and how far back the queue extends. Queueing is registered when a vehicle drops to ≤5km/h (or ≤3mph). From that point, the queue is measured (in metres) up to the arrowhead of your path.In the table, we show the number of stops, and queue distance broken down by day of the week.

How you select your paths or linestrings is important to ensure accurate queue length results. Please check out this guide on how to get the most accurate readings from queue length tables.

Improvements

Table Headers

We've improved the table headers so that they include more information about your selection. This includes vehicle type, the full date range, and the name of your selection. For example, in the table below, you can see this selection is for CAR data on the Bradfield HWY, between the 12th July to 12th August 2026.

Other Bug Fixes

  • We fixed a bug where the whole page would re-render if you added a new vehicle type, changed a path selection, or date/times. This means if you have a certain graph selected and you toggle on/off a selection, the graph should stay the same and not re-load or remove your selections.

  • We fixed a bug that caused the date labels on tables didnt update when users toggled between different date ranges.
