Release Notes Road Intelligence - June 2026
Here are the latest updates to Compass Road Intelligence
New Features
Pin drop on map when searching
We now drop a pin on the map when you click or hover on results in the Search Bar. This is based on feedback that sometimes it was difficult to identify where the road of interest was located on a map.

New Graph changes
Speed Analysis - Changes to the 'All' graph
For 'All' graphs, the solid line now represents the median speed or g-force rather than the average. Since shaded areas already show the 85th and 15th percentiles, the median (or the 50th percentile) is a natural fit in the middle.

Speed Analysis - 'Average' has been changed to 'Mean'
The 'Average' aggregate has been renamed to the 'Mean'. 'Average' is a broad term that can imply different measures (like median or midpoint), whereas 'Mean' is more precise and consistent with the Speed Bin Summary Table.

Trajectory Graphs - Load on Demand
You now click 'Load trajectory data' in Trajectory Analysis to load the graph, and a CIOT downloads automatically when you do. This was based on feedback that some users found their browsers crashed or frozen when loading trajectory data. Trajectory data is large; now you only need to load it when you need it.

Important note for WaySync users: The WaySync downloads require trajectory data to be loaded to generate the WaySync .GPS files. Trajectories will load automatically for Waysync users.
New File Export Changes
WaySync and .CSV File Names are Neater
We've tidied up CSV exports, and WaySync files now show the direction of your selection in the file name.
Other Changes
- Updated the login screen so that Single Sign On (SSO) is at the top of the options. We've also tried to improve error handling so the cause of any errors is clearer.
- New animation when opening the Results Panel.
